- comply with sanitary standards and observe work and rest regimes;
- comply with the rules for the operation of computer equipment in accordance with the operating instructions;
- when working with textual information, choose the most physiological mode for representing black characters on a white background;
- observe established by the regime working hours, regulated breaks in work and perform recommended exercises for the eyes, neck, arms, torso, legs in physical education breaks and physical education minutes;
- observe the distance from the eyes to the screen within 60 - 80 cm.
3.2. During work it is prohibited:
- touch the rear panel of the system unit when the power is on;
- switching connectors of interface cables of peripheral devices when the power is on;
- clutter up the top panels of devices with papers and foreign objects;
- allow the workplace to be cluttered with paper in order to prevent the accumulation of organic dust;
- perform power off during the execution of an active task;
- make frequent power changes;
- allow moisture to get on the surface of the system unit, monitor, working surface of the keyboard, disk drives, printers and other devices;
- turn on heavily chilled (brought from the street in winter) equipment;
- to independently open and repair equipment.

4. REQUIREMENTS FOR LABOR PROTECTION IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS

4.1. The employee must immediately inform the head of the department about each accident that he witnessed, and provide the victim with first aid, call a doctor or help deliver the victim to the nearest medical institution. If the accident occurred with the employee himself, he should, if possible, contact a medical institution, report the incident to the head of the department or ask someone around to do it.
4.2. In an emergency, notify the surrounding people about the danger, report to the head of the department about what happened and act in accordance with the instructions received.
4.3. In the event of equipment breakdown, the employee must turn off the equipment and report this to the head of the department.
4.4. In the event of a fire or signs of burning (smoke, burning smell, temperature increase, etc.), each employee must:
. stop working;
. turn off electrical equipment if possible;
. press the fire alarm button and signal a fire;
. report the incident to the head of the sales department;
. immediately call the fire brigade by phone 0-01 (in this case, you must give the address of the object, the place of the fire, and also provide your last name, first name, patronymic, phone number);
. take measures to evacuate people;

5. REQUIREMENTS FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY AFTER THE END OF WORK

5.1. Upon completion of work, the following sequence of shutting down computer equipment must be observed:
- close all active tasks;
- make sure there are no floppy disks in the drives;
- shut down the operating system;
- turn off the power of the system unit (processor);
- turn off the power of all peripheral devices;
- turn off the uninterruptible power supply.

ON LABOR SAFETY IN SERVICE OF BATTERIES

Chapter 1. General requirements on labor protection

1.1. To independent work on repair and maintenance batteries men at least 18 years of age who have the appropriate qualifications, have passed the introductory briefing and initial briefing at the workplace, have been trained in safe working methods and have the appropriate certificate are allowed.

1.2. An employee who has not undergone a timely re-instruction on labor protection and an annual test of knowledge on labor safety should not start work.

1.3. Upon admission to work, the employee must undergo a preliminary medical examination and undergo periodic medical examinations during work.

1.4. The employee is obliged to comply with the Internal Labor Regulations established at the enterprise.

Employees are not allowed to use alcohol, narcotic and toxic substances, as well as smoking in unspecified places.

1.5. The full norm of the duration of the battery worker's working time cannot exceed 40 hours per week.

The duration of daily work (shift) is determined by the Internal Labor Regulations or the schedule of work (shift) in compliance with the norm of duration working week set by the employer.

1.6. An employee must comply with safety requirements when moving around the territory and production premises of a motor transport enterprise, for preventing fires and preventing burns.

1.7. Having noticed a violation of labor safety requirements by another employee, the battery operator must warn him of the need to comply with them.

1.8. The employee must be able to provide first aid to the victim in case of accidents at work.

1.9. The employee should not start performing one-time work that is not related to his duties in the specialty, before passing the target briefing.

1.10. The employee must be aware that dangerous and harmful production factors that can affect him in the process of performing work are:

1.10.1. electricity. Electricity, passing through the human body, strikes the worker. It has thermal, electrochemical, mechanical and biological effects on the body;

1.10.2. sulfuric acid. Sulfuric acid, when it comes into contact with parts of the body, damages the skin, resulting in dermatitis and burns;

1.10.3. caustic potash. Caustic potash acts similarly to sulfuric acid;

1.10.4. lead and its compounds. Lead and its compounds lead to poisoning of the worker's body, as well as to the disorder of the peripheral and central nervous system, damage to the motor apparatus, lead paralysis;

1.10.5. hydrogen. Hydrogen is released during battery charging, mixing with atmospheric oxygen, forms an explosive detonating gas.

1.11. The employee must use only those tools, devices, equipment, with which he is trained in safe working methods and instructed.

1.12. The employee must work in overalls and safety shoes and, if necessary, use other PPE.

1.13. When performing work with acids with a concentration of more than 50%, rubber boots (on duty) are additionally issued instead of half boots.

1.14. The employee must comply with fire safety rules, be able to use fire extinguishing equipment.

1.15. About noticed violations of labor safety requirements at their workplace, as well as about malfunctions of equipment, devices, tools and PPE, violations technological process the employee must inform his immediate supervisor and not start work until the violations and malfunctions are eliminated.

1.16. The employee must observe the rules of personal hygiene:

1.16.1. before going to the toilet, eating, smoking, wash your hands with soap and water;

1.16.2. do not store or consume in battery food and drinking water to prevent the ingress of harmful substances from the air into them;

1.16.3. for drinking it is necessary to use water from devices specially designed for this purpose (saturators, drinking tanks, fountains and similar devices);

1.16.4. use special gloves to protect the skin of the hands.

1.17. For non-compliance with the requirements of this instruction, the employee is liable in accordance with applicable law.

chapter 2. requirements for labor protection before starting work

2.1. Put on overalls, fasten the cuffs of the sleeves of overalls, prepare other PPE necessary for work.

2.2. Check the condition of the floor in the workplace. floors industrial premises must comply with sanitary and hygienic requirements and must not be slippery.

2.3. Inspect and prepare your workplace, clean everything extra items without obstructing aisles. The workplace should be kept clean and well lit. The worker must stand on a wooden platform with a distance between the planks of no more than 30 mm.

2.4. Check the availability and serviceability of tools, fixtures and equipment, as well as the presence of soap, cotton wool in the package, towels and neutralizing solutions (in closed vessels) in the battery compartment:

2.4.1. when working with acid batteries - 5 - 10% solution of baking soda for the skin of the body and 2 - 3% for the eyes;

2.4.2. when working with alkaline batteries - 5 - 10% solution of boric acid for the skin of the body and 2 - 3% for the eyes.

2.5. Check for grounding of electrical equipment.

2.6. Check the completeness of fire equipment in the battery compartment and, if there is a shortage, inform your immediate supervisor about this.

2.7. Turn on the supply and exhaust ventilation and local suction at the workplace and ventilate the battery room.

chapter 3. requirements for labor protection when performing work

3.1 The employee must carry out Maintenance, charging and repair of batteries should be carried out in rooms specially equipped for this purpose.

3.2. Connect the terminals of the batteries put on charge, and disconnect them after charging only with the charger turned off.

3.3. Carry out transportation of batteries on special trolleys, the platform design of which excludes the possibility of falling batteries.

3.4. When manually carrying small batteries, use special devices (grabs) and take precautions to avoid dousing with electrolyte.

3.5. Connect the batteries installed for charging with an electric wire with special lugs tightly adjacent to the battery terminals.

3.6. Charge batteries only with plugs removed and local exhaust ventilation switched on.

3.7. Check the degree of charge of the batteries only with the help of special devices (load fork, hydrometer, and so on).

3.8. Store vessels with acid and electrolyte in a place specially designated for this purpose.

3.9. To inspect the batteries, if necessary, use a portable lamp with a voltage not exceeding 42 V in an explosion-proof version, while not leaning close to the batteries.

3.10. Before repairing batteries, completely pour the electrolyte out of them into special containers.

3.11. Dismantle the battery pack only after washing it.

3.12. Smelting lead and filling it with molds when casting battery parts, as well as melting and pouring mastic and repairing batteries only at workplaces equipped with local exhaust ventilation.

3.13. Wear rubber gloves when working with acid or alkali.

3.14. Store sulfuric acid only in glass containers in wicker baskets or wooden boxes, labeled with the contents.

3.15. Vessels with acid or electrolyte should be transported on trolleys or carried together on a stretcher. Vessel stoppers must be tightly closed.

3.16. Open glass vessels with sulfuric acid carefully, without applying great effort, preheating the neck of the vessel with a rag soaked in hot water.

3.17. When preparing an acidic electrolyte, observe the following precautions:

3.17.1. mix sulfuric acid with distilled water in a vessel specially designed for this purpose (ceramic, plastic, faience);

3.17.2. to mix battery acid with water, first pour cold water into the dish, and then pour in the acid in a thin stream, while stirring the solution with a glass (ebonite) rod;

3.17.3. acid should be poured from bottles using rocking chairs, special siphons or other devices;

3.17.4. pouring acid manually, as well as pouring water into the acid is not allowed in order to avoid the possibility of burns.

3.18. When preparing an alkaline electrolyte, observe the following precautions:

3.18.1. open a vessel with alkali carefully, without applying great effort;

3.18.2. if the cork is filled with paraffin, heat the neck of the vessel with a rag soaked in hot water;

3.18.3. if there are large pieces of caustic potash, crush them, covering the pieces with a clean cloth to prevent splinters from getting into the eyes or on the skin;

3.18.4. prepare electrolyte only in a steel or plastic vessel;

3.18.5. take pieces of caustic potash only with tongs (tweezers) or a spoon.

3.19. When moving a charged battery, be careful not to close the output terminals with metal tools, and for an alkaline battery, in addition, do not short the output terminals to the battery case.

3.20. Keep acid, alkali, electrolyte and distilled water only in properly labeled containers.

3.21. Remove the electrolyte spilled on the rack with a rag soaked in a neutralizing solution.

3.22. Electrolyte spilled on the floor, first sprinkle with sawdust and collect them, then moisten this place with a neutralizing solution and wipe it with a dry rag.

3.23. When the ventilation is turned off, stop work.

3.24. Not allowed:

3.24.1. in the room for charging batteries, in order to prevent an explosion, light a fire, smoke, use electric heaters (electric stoves with an open coil, etc.) and allow sparking of electrical equipment;

3.24.2. use glassware for the preparation of electrolyte, which, if handled carelessly, can easily break, which will lead to burns to the worker.

chapter 4. requirements for labor protection at the end of work

4.1. Turn off ventilation and electrical equipment.

4.2. Tidy up your workspace. Remove the electrolyte, devices, tools to the place provided for this.

4.3. Rinse used PPE (gloves, apron, half boots) in water and put them in the place intended for this.

4.4. Take off PPE, overalls and shoes, put them in the place intended for this. Timely hand over PPE for washing and repair.

4.5. Wash your face and hands with soap and take a shower.

4.6. Notify your immediate supervisor of any deficiencies found during work.

chapter 5. requirements for labor protection in emergency situations

5.1. When creating an emergency, a fire occurs:

5.1.1. stop work;

5.1.2. turn off the equipment;

5.1.3. eliminate, if possible, the source that caused such a situation, call emergency services;

5.1.4. report the incident to the person responsible for the safe production of work;

5.1.5. report the occurrence of a fire to the management, call the fire brigade, start extinguishing the fire with the available fire extinguishing equipment.

5.2. In case of poisoning with sulfuric acid vapors, inhale soda solution vapors and contact a health center.

5.3. If acid or alkali gets on exposed parts of the body, immediately wash the affected areas with a neutralizing solution (if acid gets in, with a solution of baking soda, if alkali gets in, with a solution of boric acid), and then with soap and water).

5.4. If acid or alkali gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with an appropriate neutralizing solution and then with water and contact a health center.

5.5. In the event of an accident that happened to an employee or an eyewitness of which he became, the employee is obliged:

5.5.1. provide the victim with first aid using the drugs in the first-aid kit, and take the necessary measures to provide the victim with medical care;

5.5.2. take measures to preserve the situation at the scene of the incident (if this does not pose a threat to the health and life of workers);
