Oksana (name changed at the request of the woman) is now 53 years old. For about 16 years she was a kindergarten teacher, but for the last two months she has been working as an assistant teacher. The woman talked about why she deliberately “demoted” herself, how much money she lost, what her income is now and what she allows herself to buy for her salary.

Oksana is a chemistry teacher by her basic education. It so happened that after high school for some time she did not work in her specialty. And then I decided to change the direction of my activity somewhat and retrained as a preschool teacher. It is recognized that it was a spontaneous choice - she never dreamed of being a teacher. She worked in this capacity for 16 years. And she was so morally exhausted that about 2 months ago she decided to “degrade” herself in her position and went to work as an assistant teacher. At the same time, Oksana significantly lost her earnings (more than 100 rubles). But at that time, her moral state was more important for her than material.

“The new place of work is somewhat calmer, but I am not satisfied with what I have,” the woman admits. - The assistant teacher cleans the group, spreads and makes beds, gets food, sets the table and distributes food, then washes the dishes, gathers the children for a walk and walks with them, meets them from a walk, and so on. That is, the teacher's assistant works as intensively as the teacher himself, while receiving "penny". I decided to take a break for half a year, and then either return to the caregivers, or change something significantly.

The woman says that somehow it’s impossible to earn extra money: she is at work all day, and by the weekend there is simply no strength left.
