Legal earnings on the Internet without investment. Legal earnings on the Internet without investments: ways available to everyone

Horror stories on the topic “Working with cashiers is dangerous! They will imprison, add additional charge, take away property, etc.” much has been written. And just honest horror stories based on real events. Everyone knows perfectly well what illegal tax optimization can turn into ...

But the forbidden fruit is sweet, and "colossal and incomparable" tax savings with the help of "gray optimizers" are today's occupation for desperate people. Since the advent of the ASK VAT-2 system, establishing “dangerous ties” has become easier than a steamed turnip.

The modernization of the systems for "transferring business to a legal channel" did not stop there. Tax progress has reached the creation unified system control over the payment of all taxes. And it will come into effect on July 1, 2017. In addition, the Federal Tax Service is discussing a reduction in the period for checking for the right to refund VAT. And it is not clear what desires the tax authorities are guided by: in order to quickly detect fraud and charge additional charges, or speed up the process of reimbursement for honest taxpayers ...

Many people think that if you pay all taxes, you can "leave no pants." Is it really?

in black

The company is directly connected with cashless offices and, “without embarrassment”, optimizes VAT. Beneficial in terms of economy. After all, if it were not so profitable, then there would be no demand. But, only from the point of view of monetary savings and a short-term effect ... If you look at the "long-term" prospects, then the savings turn into losses, both in monetary terms in the form of penalties, arrears and fines, and in the form of a shattered nervous system. Least…

Vladimir Turov

    Your company is directly connected with the cash-out office, the money is cashed out under contracts for cargo transportation or other services. And the cash-out office meets all the signs of an unscrupulous legal entity. In this case, any check can establish:
  • difference in signatures bank card"supplier" with signatures on the primary;
  • “directors” and “founders” either testify not in your favor, or they cannot be found at all;
  • there is no material evidence of the fact of services rendered;
  • your employees can’t say anything intelligible;
  • phone numbers with whom you agreed on this service, you and your employees cannot give;
  • no one can give a clear description of what the director or other employee of the “supplier” looks like;
  • where and how they met to sign the treaty, no one knows;
  • after the third hour of interrogation, the employees and the director float, begin to get confused in their own testimony, the information of the director begins to contradict the data received from the employees ... in general, everything is fun;
  • why round sums were always transferred to these “suppliers” - there is no answer;
  • why exactly with these "suppliers" the same contracts - there is no answer.

And so on. I'm not talking about what the "leftist" seals and letterheads can find. And the “supplier” of the service himself could never provide this service in his life, in view of total absence personnel and material resources. No matter how wild it sounds, but in 2016 this stupid and most dangerous scheme continued to be massively used. If you like the smell of the pre-trial detention center and need adrenaline, then go ahead.

With cunning

And if you hide cashing out for counterparties of 2-3-5 links? The benefit is not going anywhere ... But even such a confusing scheme, hidden behind several “backs” of counterparties, is declassified by the tax authorities. And the "profit" again turns into losses.

Vladimir Turov

Supervisor law firm Turov and Partners, leading specialist in the field of taxation:

    On the one side, Supreme Court says that the mere fact of using intermediaries does not indicate the bad faith of the taxpayer (for example, Determination of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation of 03/04/2015. №302-KG14-3432 and there are many such cases), but on the other hand, everything depends on the painstaking work of the tax authorities and the evidence base they have collected. According to Clause 1 of Article 105.14 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation tax authorities can exclude an intermediary from the chain by declaring your company interdependent with a cash-out office, if the intermediary was not engaged in anything other than a simple resale of goods, does not have material and by human resourses to process such turnovers, etc.

Legally

The number of "believers" in the immortality of cashing out businessmen is declining in the same way as the number of cashers themselves. But legalization, just estimating offhand that with the same salary of 100 rubles. will have to pay from above the state 73 rubles. 5 kop. taxes, leads businessmen to confusion: "You can go bankrupt like that!" ... But if you use legitimate tax optimization schemes, the savings will be approximately the same as with "friendship with one-day people." However, in legal work, as well as in illegal saving options, there are “pitfalls”:

Vladimir Turov

Head of the law firm "Turov and Partners", a leading specialist in the field of taxation:

    Advantages of 100% legality:
  • Fear disappears;
  • Frees up attention for creative projects, for business development;
  • As a result, profit increases;
  • Over time, the regulatory authorities, having realized that the company pays all taxes, does not give bribes, and also knows how to defend itself from unreasonable “nitpicking”, forget about this business;
  • The business owner has the opportunity to go about their business by hiring directors (managers). Everything is transparent, it is difficult to steal;
  • There is an opportunity to completely legalize the income of the owner, which makes it possible to more freely dispose of the earnings.
  • Directors, deputies and especially chief accountants work more efficiently and devotedly, as they are now safe, they do not have to risk themselves "for the sake of the owner for wages"

Also, the business owner must be prepared for some negative aspects of 100% legalization. But the main part of the minuses is passing.

Cons of 100% legality:

    Any payment of taxes is money. Money - besides intention, abilities, excellent products and their wide popularity, is also mathematics. And any legalization begins with mathematics. For if honesty (ethics) leads to ruin, then this is stupidity, not ethics.

    That is why at the webinar I will touch on only one issue, one topic that is suitable for both a novice businessman and companies with billions in turnover - the topic of the "mathematics" of legal work. I will honestly tell you when it is possible, what you will come to, in what cases it is impossible, and I will give all this on figures and specific examples.

This week, two new projects appeared on the Web at once, designed to make it easier for users to access legal video on the Internet: social network Odnoklassniki has acquired its own Internet cinema, and the Afisha publication has launched a video content aggregator show.afisha.ru .

Lenta.ru tried to figure out what other sites help you legally watch your favorite TV shows on the Web, how convenient such services are and how they differ from each other.

A few years ago, finding a legal video on the Internet was quite difficult. There was little legal content, it was expensive, and therefore it was much easier, more convenient and more profitable to download movies from torrent trackers or watch their pirated copies posted online. This situation, of course, did not suit the copyright holders, for whom the large-scale spread of piracy resulted in losses and the inability to build a working business model.

The series catalog on TVzavr.ru also mainly consists of Russian films. A rather significant part of the content is made up of Soviet serials ("TASS is authorized to announce", "The Twelve Chairs" and others). Unlike Videomore, part of the video on the site is provided by a paid subscription (tvzavr+). A monthly subscription will cost 160 Russian rubles (46 thousand Belarusian).

Russian TV shows are presented by the products of the channels "First", "Russia 1", NTV and STS - they appear on the site almost immediately after they go on the air. Moreover, not only series are posted on Zoomby, but, in principle, the entire content of Russian channels: talk shows, health programs, and even news.

They cannot boast of video quality on the portal (there are no videos in HD), although the service itself is adapted for all mobile platforms (independent applications) and smart TVs. Of the features of Zoomby, one can note the abundance of films and cartoons "for adults".

Sites that work with popular foreign series prefer a completely different model - there are not so many free American or European series on them, and most popular films are available only for money. This is understandable - if a user can easily watch Russian TV series, including on TV, then " Walking Dead", "Breaking Bad" or "House of Cards" on TV cannot be found (at the same time, the American video services Hulu, Netflix and Amazon Prime, which broadcast them throughout the rest of the world, are officially unavailable in Russia and Belarus).

Internet cinema Ivi.ru was launched in early 2010. To date, the service catalog has collected more than 65 thousand units of video content. In total, Ivi works with over 250 copyright holders. Thanks to this, on the site you can watch such popular foreign TV series as "The Big Bang Theory", "The Walking Dead", "Desperate Housewives" and "Clinic".

A significant part of the series on Ivi can be watched in HD quality. For content that does not support this option, there are three options - excellent, high and standard quality. A significant disadvantage of the cinema is the inability to watch films in the original language or with subtitles, as well as to choose translation languages (as in iTunes, for example). According to the creators of the service, Ivi is available on "any device that connects to the Internet and has a screen."

Launched in 2011, the online cinema Playfamily.ru provides users with one of the most complete catalogs. There are almost all foreign TV series that have been heard in recent years (House, Downton Abbey, Sherlock, Breaking Bad, House of Cards, The Vampire Diaries and others). However, not all series on the site can be watched, as they say, to the end - for example, Force Majeure has only the first two seasons, although the first ten episodes of the third have already been shown in the United States.

Play services can also be used with mobile devices. The resource has applications for iOS and Android (but if you don’t stop the application from posting tweets on your behalf in time, your friends will soon find something like “I registered with #playfamilyru. I’ll watch a movie! Do you use the service?”).

The Stream.ru service was launched back in 2009 (at that time it was called Omlet.ru). To date, its catalog includes about 1,500 films and series. The company cooperates with such major copyright holders as Universal Pictures, Warner Bros., Walt Disney, Sony Pictures, BBC, Miramax, Fox and Central Partnership. Nevertheless, the choice of TV shows on Stream is not that great - only 36 TV shows.

All series on Stream are in paid access. A paid subscription costs 99 Russian rubles per month (28.5 thousand Belarusian rubles), you can pay for it with a bank card, electronic money or via SMS. At the same time, Stream users cannot choose the viewing quality. There is also no opportunity to watch films in the original voice acting or with subtitles.

You can also watch Stream from mobile devices - the cinema has applications for iOS, Android and Windows Phone. For iOS, however, only full-length movies are available - none of the 36 series could be found in the application. On the other hand, there is one significant plus in using the application - movies in it can be downloaded and watched offline.

The ability to view part of the content offline is also provided to its users by the Now.ru cinema (part of the TNT group of companies). For an additional fee, the user downloads series or films to his computer in order to watch them later through a special player without an Internet connection.

Otherwise, the subscription system divides all content into two categories: available for a monthly subscription fee of 150 Russian rubles or 44 thousand Belarusian rubles (all series fall here) and premium - 50 or 70 rubles per film (from 14.4 to 20 thousand, respectively) . Foreign television hits (85 series) are present in the collection in a rather limited format: there are the last episodes of the just-ended Breaking Bad, but the first half of the final season is missing; the popular "Castle" ends on the third season, which was held in the United States back in 2010.

You can pay for a subscription or individual films in the most common ways: from a bank card, from an account mobile phone or through a Qiwi wallet - the latter also allows you to organize an automatic subscription renewal. Although Now.ru does not have a dedicated app for mobile devices, its own online player allows you to watch videos on gadgets through a browser without any problems. However, the special version of the site for phones copies the main portal and is not very convenient.

Amediateka

Launched one of the last (summer 2013) "Amediateka" relies on the most popular and latest foreign TV series. The creators of the service bought the rights to the "Game of Thrones", "Boardwalk Empire", "Homeland", "News Service" and many others (63 titles in total). Russian and Belarusian users have no other legal opportunity to watch these series. New episodes appear on the site within 24 hours of being shown in the US. The site offers series and films only by subscription - 229 Russian rubles per month (89 thousand Belarusian).

Since its inception, the creators of the site have stated that its functionality will be constantly expanded. However, HD-quality video is still not available on the portal, although it is available on Amedia TV channels, from which the site takes its content. While watching, Russian subtitles are displayed on the screen at will (not for all series), but without the ability to select the original audio track, this function can hardly be popular.

Obviously, the variety of different platforms for watching TV shows and movies does not make this viewing convenient. Quite the contrary: in order to get access to all possible videos, you need to create several accounts on different sites and keep in mind the catalog of each of them. Existing services cannot collect all the content on one site - after all, they have already divided the display rights among themselves. Just to resolve such a collision was decided by the already mentioned big players Internet market, Odnoklassniki and Afisha, although they approached the problem from different angles.

The social network "Odnoklassniki" launched its own Internet cinema and this somewhat complicated its work. First, using your own video player means that the social network will have to process all the videos in-house. In addition, the Odnoklassniki player does not provide the ability to connect subtitles and select the voice language - all this will have to be finalized. The ability to watch videos in HD quality is also not yet available.

The second problem is to get content when everything is already divided between existing online cinemas. At the time of launch, the Odnoklassniki catalog contained a minimum set of Russian TV series - the content was limited to the products of the Yellow, Black studios. and White"and" Red Square ", which make programs for STS.

On the other hand, the advantage is the 30 millionth audience of the social network - it is comparable to the daily audience of Channel One, and this may well attract other copyright holders. As representatives of Odnoklassniki promise, the first foreign series and films should appear here before the New Year.

Afisha, on the contrary, decided not to complicate its life by simply uniting existing online cinemas under its roof. The main advantage of this approach is a conditional general collection in which the user sees all available TV shows and movies from all services. In this case, Afisha itself does not need to rack its brains over the search for content - it is only necessary to correctly present what is already there.

However, the Afisha solution does not eliminate the need to subscribe to services - for now we are talking about about the need for an account in Amediatek, since all other cinemas provide their content for free. There is no opportunity to subscribe from the Afisha-Series website yet. In the case of Now.ru, where some series can be watched for free and others not, Afisha simply closed the possibility of viewing paid content (it is also impossible to log into a Now.ru account).

Whether a certain general subscription will be introduced over time is still unknown, but now there is a lack of the ability to separately group paid and free content.

Even with the advent of movie and series aggregators, Russian legal content delivery services are still far from their foreign counterparts. Moreover, they are competitors to a certain extent - it is easier for some users to pay for a foreign service and get a product of incomparable quality: HD video and multi-channel sound.

The most widespread among Russian and Belarusian TV series fans were American Apple iTunes and Netflix. In order to access iTunes, just enter any address in the United States and pay for purchases gift cards, which you can buy in any online store. In the case of Netflix, you have to draw up a virtual American bank card and set up a VPN connection to pretend you're in the US.

However, in search of a convenient platform, users are ready to go even to such tricks. Moreover, formally, the law is not violated in this case, and the maximum that threatens the user is blocking the account in the service.

So, you have decided to go into business, but doubt that you will succeed. You are a law-abiding citizen, and therefore want to work legally. However, logic tells you that it is at the initial stage, when the success of a future project is in question, that it is better not to rush to register an individual entrepreneur or legal entity.

Way of doing business without registration

What to do? On the one hand, you have a great desire to work honestly and transparently, and on the other hand, you understand that registering a business on this stage inappropriate.

At first glance, the situation looks deadlocked. But we all know that if you wish, you can solve any problem. By the way, this question, in my opinion, is not a problem. It's more like the current one technical task, solved in working order. In general, the output is the following:

It is necessary to work on behalf of an existing entrepreneur or legal entity.

Do you want to know how? Now I'll tell you everything.

So, if you do not want to register your business, then you need to find an already registered business and make an offer to its owner that he cannot refuse.

I personally worked on such a scheme with one entrepreneur. I wanted to start a stationery business. However, at that time I was not sure of its success, and therefore did not see the point in registering this project. But I wanted to work honestly and legally.

In general, I found an individual entrepreneur who supplied spare parts for machine tools to a manufacturing concern. He had all the necessary permits to trade, so he could safely sell "stationery".

I offered this entrepreneur to cash in on me. I told about the business that I plan to start, and also explained the reasons why I do not want to register it at the initial stage. I said, “Mustafa, you don't have to do anything. I take care of all business processes. Only one thing is required of you - to pass all transactions through your legally registered IP. If you want, I'll even take care of the billing and invoices. For this small service, you will receive 50% of the profits.”

As now I remember the joyful face of Mustafa and his answer, which sounded literally 5 seconds after the proposal I voiced: “I agree, dear!”

Get me hired for at least a quarter of the rate. All expenses to pay me wages and I took over the payment of taxes from it.

Why is this needed? The fact is that if you do not register for an individual entrepreneur for work, then because of you he may have problems with regulatory authorities. It is clear that the entrepreneur will pay taxes on each transaction. However, you personally must also act legally.

For example, if Mustafa had not issued me, then any inspector could ask him a question: “But this guy who sells stationery on your behalf, who is he? He is yours employee? If yes, then show the documents confirming it. If not, then pay a fine for tax evasion!”

Of course, Mustafa might say, “No, I don't know this guy. I see him for the first time! And I do the stationery myself!” But that excuse won't work. After all, I conclude contracts on his behalf, buyers transfer money to his account according to the documents that I bring - all this is proof that I work for him. In general, he definitely cannot avoid responsibility for an unregistered employee.

The disadvantages of this method

I could paint everything in rainbow colors and idealize the work through a registered entrepreneur. But we do not have a collection of fairy tales about business. Right?

In general, the proposed method has several significant drawbacks:

  • Big financial losses. No one will agree to disinterestedly take you under their wing. That is why I offered Mustafa 50% of the profits. In fact, I took him to share as a full-fledged partner. Moreover, if all partners put in the same effort during management, then in my case, Mustafa simply wrote out invoices and enjoyed messages from the bank about cash receipts from my clients. I did all the main work: looking for buyers, drawing up contracts, organizing deliveries, settling problems, etc.

    Moreover, the cost of my salary and taxes on it were covered at my expense. If at the end of the month I could not earn this money, then I had to compensate for these expenses from my own pocket.

    Mustafa was pleased to work with me. Still, he did not carry any financial or legal risks. You should have seen his sad eyes on the day when I announced that I no longer needed his help.

  • High risk of losing business. Who doesn't need profitable idea? Name me one such person. Alas, all entrepreneurs hunt for promising and successful projects.

    When entering into an alliance with a businessman for whom you are going to work, always be prepared for the fact that he may try to take over your business.

    And this is not surprising! All payments will be made through his bank account, clients will trust his name. But the most important thing is that this entrepreneur will have reliable and complete information about the expenses, income, profits and monthly financial turnover of your business. In general, the temptation is great, and this must be taken into account.

  • There may be problems with making payments. When engaging in joint work with an existing entrepreneur, one should remember that he has his own business. Any business activity involves risk. Your new partner may be in arrears on loans or obligations to suppliers. No one will guarantee that the money that came to his account from your client will not be used to pay off his own debts. After all, you do not have access to control bank account this entrepreneur.

    In general, a situation may arise when it is the new companion that will become the main source of your problems. So please be responsible.

I told you about unpleasant things. What, have you already changed your mind about contacting registered entrepreneurs? Don't rush to panic. I'll tell you this:

To reduce the likelihood of problems, you just need to not put off registering your business.

It should be understood that your cooperation with a registered entrepreneur is temporary. Moreover, this union is created not so much for profit, but to assess the viability of their business idea. Therefore, as soon as you understand that the chosen direction is promising, immediately go to register your business. Also pay attention to this:

It is very important that large amounts of money do not start flowing through your partner's bank account. You should part with it at the initial stage of business development.

No need to "seduce" a partner with your successes. You need to understand that:

Envy is an emotional, not a conscious state of a person. Do not cause these vile emotions in people, and then everything will be fine.

I think it's time to talk about the advantages of working through a registered entrepreneur.

Advantages of this method

I was pleased with the cooperation with Mustafa. You may not believe me, but it's true. Yes, I understand that this union "ate" more than half of my profits. Yes, I risked a lot. But all this is nonsense, the most important thing is this:

I effectively achieved my goal - I tested the business idea and in case of failure, I would have suffered minimal losses.

In general, I see the following advantages in working through a registered IP:

  • In case of failure, you can easily exit the business. Register an IP or entity not difficult. However, there is another problem - to withdraw from registration (to close). Here they will “blow up your brain” and shake everything out of you that is possible. This was for me the main reason why I decided to contact Mustafa. Remember the important thing:

    Money can be acquired, but the time spent and the destroyed nerve cells cannot be returned.
    It is good if the business idea turns out to be successful and profitable. And if not? What then? Then you need to curtail your activities.

    Luckily, my stationery business was profitable within a month. I quickly issued an IP and said goodbye to Mustafa. If the project turned out to be unprofitable, then I would just as quickly say goodbye to Mustafa and curtail my activities. And if I was greedy and registered myself individual entrepreneur? What then?

    I'm scared to imagine what kind of tests would await me if I registered an IP under unprofitable project. First, I wouldn't be able to earn anything. Secondly, having worked for only a couple of months, then I would have been running around all the authorities for six months and deregistered. Naturally, the tax authorities would certainly have found some errors in my documents and finally counted some fines for me. In general, against the backdrop of all this nightmare, the cost of Mustafa will seem like a trifle. It's not in vain that they say:

    Fraer's greed is ruining.
    Draw your own conclusions gentlemen.

  • Loss of 50% of profit is temporary. I easily parted with half the money I earned. I'll tell you a secret, at that moment I was not even interested in the share due to me. I was focused on only one thing - testing the business idea. I, as a test pilot, flew an experimental model of the aircraft, and therefore I knew that at any moment it might be necessary to eject. In such situations, few people think about money. I did not have a goal to get something from the business - I was only trying to create it, and therefore it was the viability of the project that was most important to me.

    Giving half of my income to Mustafa, I perceived this as gratitude for the provided “airfield” and “ technical staff"to test my" plane ". Naturally, I understood that at any moment I could say goodbye to Mustafa and go on a free voyage. So, losing 50% of profits is, by and large, nonsense, my friends.

  • You are clean before the law. It's nice to realize that you are an entrepreneur, not a criminal. Working through a registered IP is absolutely legal and legal. You can sleep peacefully and not be startled by nightly doorbells or police cars pulling up outside your house.

Actually, that's all I wanted to tell you about business without registration. By the way, we are constantly talking about entrepreneurial activity. Do you know its signs? For example, you repaired the tap to a neighbor, she gave you 100 rubles for it. Is this business or not? I propose to go to the publication.

This week, two new projects appeared on the Web at once, designed to make it easier for users to access legal video on the Internet: the Odnoklassniki social network acquired its own Internet cinema, and the Afisha publication launched show.afisha.ru, a video content aggregator.

Everything changed with the adoption in August 2013 of the anti-piracy law. Copyright owners now have the opportunity to seek pre-trial blocking of Internet resources suspected of distributing pirated content. While file sharing services got used to the need to delete illegal video files and tried to possible ways to bypass the blocking, some users found out with some surprise that for several years now there have been resources on the Runet that allow you to watch videos on completely legal grounds.

Most of these sites appeared long before the entry into force of the law on the protection of intellectual property on the Internet - in 2010-2011. In total, there are about a dozen of them, and they can be divided into two categories: those that specialize mainly in domestic content, and those that rely on foreign series. In each of these categories, there are both paid (or partially paid) cinemas and completely free portals.

Own, native, free

Most video services that provide their content for free mainly work with Russian TV shows. These are, for example, sites such as Videomore, TVzavr and Zoomby.

Internet cinema Videomore.ru was launched in 2010 by STS-Media. That is why a significant part of Videomore's content is made up of series that are released or released in different times on TV channels owned by STS-Media - STS, Domashny and Pepper. The series catalog on Videomore includes a little over 60 series. As noted earlier, these are mainly serials Russian production("Kadetstvo", "I'm flying", "Ranetki" and others). The only foreign series in the catalog - "Doctor House" - is presented only in the form of a 30-second promo video.

Tapes available in the Internet cinema can be watched for free. At the beginning of each episode, users are shown a small commercial (a few seconds after it starts, a “skip ad” button appears in the upper right corner of the screen). Despite the scarcity of the catalog, Videomore allows you to choose the quality of viewing. Users are offered three options - HQ (high quality), MQ (medium quality) and SQ (low). However, when watching this or that series on the screen of a regular laptop (in full screen mode), the difference between HQ, MQ and SQ is barely noticeable.

Videomore has mobile applications for iOS and Android, as well as a convenient mobile version of the site that allows you to easily access the content of the cinema from a tablet or smartphone.

The series catalog on TVzavr.ru also mainly consists of domestic films. A rather significant part of the content is made up of Soviet TV series (“TASS is authorized to announce”, “The Twelve Chairs” and others). Unlike Videomore, part of the video on the site is provided by a paid subscription (tvzavr+). A monthly subscription will cost 160 rubles.

Free films are accompanied by commercials. Advertising is shown at the very beginning of the video, as well as every time you click on the pause (at the same time, you can’t skip such a commercial, which lasts about 15 seconds). The quality of the video being watched is not regulated either. When viewed in full screen mode, the fuzziness of the image is sometimes quite noticeable.

In addition to the standard version for browsers, the cinema also has mobile applications (the same iOS and Android). The apps are pretty simple yet easy to use. Image errors are noticeable in them. Sometimes it is impossible to read even the text displayed in commercials.

On another resource - Zoomby.ru - all videos are free (the service makes money on site branding and commercials before viewing). The absence of a subscription determines the content: there are no foreign serials on the portal in principle (“foreign” here are Ukrainian “Matchmakers” and little-known European programs).

Russian TV shows are presented by the products of the First, Russia 1, NTV and STS channels - they appear on the site almost immediately after they go on the air. Moreover, not only series are posted on Zoomby, but, in principle, all the content of domestic channels: talk shows, health programs, and even news.

They cannot boast of video quality on the portal (there are no videos in HD), although the service itself is adapted for all mobile platforms (independent applications) and smart TVs. Of the features of Zoomby, one can note the abundance of films and cartoons "for adults".

big bang house of cards

Sites that work with popular foreign series prefer a completely different model - there are not so many free American or European series on them, and most popular films are available only for money. This is understandable - if a user can easily watch Russian series, including on TV, then The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad or House of Cards cannot be found on TV (at the same time, American video services Hulu, Netflix and Amazon Prime, which broadcast them throughout the rest of the world, are officially unavailable in Russia). Internet cinemas such as Ivi, Stream, Play, Now and Amediateka are trying to make money on the viewer's love for a foreign product.

Internet cinema Ivi.ru was launched in early 2010. To date, the service catalog has collected more than 65 thousand units of video content. In total, Ivi works with over 250 copyright holders. Thanks to this, on the site you can watch such popular foreign series as The Big Bang Theory, The Walking Dead, Desperate Housewives and Clinic.

Of course, ivi+ paid premium content (popular films and some foreign TV series) arouses the greatest interest in the cinema. A paid subscription will cost 299 rubles per month. By paying for it, the user gets access to premium content for 30 days. It is interesting that the subscription of users does not get rid of advertising in free films on ivi.ru. At the same time, the same series can be simultaneously in paid and free access. So, the first three seasons of The Walking Dead on Ivi can be watched for free, and you will have to pay for the fourth season. You can pay for a subscription with a bank card, electronic money (via Qiwi or Yandex.Money), as well as from your mobile phone account.

There are almost all foreign TV shows that have been heard in recent years (House, Downton Abbey, Sherlock, Breaking Bad, House of Cards, The Vampire Diaries and others). However, not all series on the site can be watched, as they say, to the end - for example, Force Majeure has only the first two seasons, although the first ten episodes of the third have already been shown in the USA.

Series available in the Internet cinema are most often provided in standard quality (SD). There are no ads on Play, and therefore all content is paid. Series can be bought only in seasons, and one season can cost from 149 rubles in the case of domestic works to 299 in the case of foreign ones. You can pay for the purchase with a card, from a mobile phone account, via WebMoney, Yandex.Money or a Qiwi wallet. After the purchase, the series selected by the user is saved in the "My Movies" section, where you can either watch it online or download it to your computer (for offline viewing, you still need to install free app play). Unfortunately, the cinema still does not allow you to choose the image quality or turn on the original version without translation.

Play services can also be used from mobile devices. The resource has applications for iOS and Android (but if you don’t stop the application from posting tweets on your behalf in time, your friends will soon find in your feed something like “I registered with #playfamilyru. I’ll watch a movie! Do you use the service?”).

The Stream.ru service was launched back in 2009 (at that time it was called Omlet.ru). To date, its catalog includes about 1,500 films and series. The company cooperates with such major rights holders as Universal Pictures, Warner Bros., Walt Disney, Sony Pictures, BBC, Miramax, Fox and Central Partnership. However, the choice of series on Stream is not that great - only 36 series.

All series on Stream are in paid access. A paid subscription costs 99 rubles per month, you can pay for it with a bank card, electronic money or via SMS. At the same time, Stream users cannot choose the viewing quality. There is also no opportunity to watch films in the original voice acting or with subtitles.

You can also watch Stream from mobile devices - the cinema has applications for iOS, Android and Windows Phone. For iOS, however, only full-length films are available - none of the 36 Lente.ru series were found in the application.

Otherwise, the subscription system divides all content into two categories: available for a monthly subscription fee of 150 rubles (all series fall here) and premium - 50 or 70 rubles per film. Foreign television hits (85 series) are present in the collection in a rather limited format: there are the last episodes of the just-ended Breaking Bad, but the first half of the final season is missing; the popular "Castle" ends on the third season, which was held in the United States back in 2010.

You can pay for a subscription or individual films in the most common ways: from a bank card, from a mobile phone account or through a Qiwi wallet - the latter also allows you to organize automatic subscription renewal.

The creators of the service bought the rights to the Game of Thrones, Underground Empire, Homeland, News Service and many others (63 titles in total). Russian users have no other legal opportunity to watch these series. New episodes appear on the site within 24 hours of being shown in the US. The site offers series and films only by subscription - 229 rubles per month.

Collect everything for me

Obviously, the variety of different platforms for watching TV shows and movies does not make this viewing convenient. Quite the contrary: in order to get access to all possible videos, you need to create several accounts on different sites and keep in mind the catalog of each of them. Existing services cannot collect all the content on one site - after all, they have already divided the display rights among themselves. The already mentioned major players in the Internet market, Odnoklassniki and Afisha, decided to resolve such a collision, although they approached the solution of the problem from different angles.

The social network "Odnoklassniki" launched its own Internet cinema and this somewhat complicated its work. First, using your own video player means that the social network will have to process all the videos in-house. In addition, the Odnoklassniki player does not provide the ability to connect subtitles and select a voice acting language - all this will have to be finalized. The ability to watch videos in HD quality is also not yet available.

The second problem is to get content when everything is already divided between existing online cinemas. At the time of launch, the Odnoklassniki catalog contained a minimal set of Russian series - the content was limited to the products of the Yellow, Black and White and Red Square studios, which make programs for STS. On the other hand, the advantage is the 30-million audience of the social network - it is comparable to the daily audience of Channel One, and this may well attract other copyright holders.

However, Afisha's solution does not eliminate the need to subscribe to services - as long as we are talking about the need for an account in Amediateka, since all other cinemas provide their content for free. There is no opportunity to subscribe from the Afisha-Series website yet. In the case of Now.ru, where some series can be watched for free and others not, Afisha simply closed the possibility of viewing paid content (it is also impossible to log into Now.ru account). Whether a certain general subscription will be introduced over time is still unknown, but now there is a lack of the ability to separately group paid and free content.

Watching the video takes place on the Afisha-Series website, but in the native cinema player - with all the ensuing advantages (quality settings) and disadvantages (advertising). At the time of launch, the content of Amediateka, Zoomby, Ivi.ru, Now.ru, Megogo and Tvigle is available on Afisha. From the New Year, Afisha promises to gradually introduce the ability to turn on subtitles.

Even with the advent of movie and series aggregators, Russian legal content delivery services are still far from their foreign counterparts. Moreover, they are competitors to a certain extent - it is easier for some users to pay for a foreign service and get a product of incomparable quality: HD video and multi-channel sound.

American Apple iTunes and Netflix are the most popular among Russian TV series fans. In order to access iTunes, just enter any address in the United States and pay for purchases with gift cards, which can be purchased at any online store. In the case of Netflix, you have to issue a virtual American bank card and set up a VPN connection to pretend that you are in the United States. However, in search of a convenient platform, users are ready to go even to such tricks. Moreover, the law is not formally violated, and the maximum that threatens the user is blocking the account in the service.
