CJSC Mineralnaya Vata(Moscow region, Zheleznodorozhny) is part of the group of companies rockwool International AC (Denmark). The plant was put into operation in 1999. In the creation of this plant, the company rockwool invested more than $20 million. The design capacity of the plant exceeds 20 thousand tons of products per year.

LLC "Rockwool-North" the largest enterprise in Russia for the production thermal insulation materials based on basalt fiber. The enterprise is located in Vyborg, Leningrad region.

The opening of the enterprise took place in May 2006. 63 million euros were invested in the construction. The plant is built according to the latest technology and technology and can produce all types of thermal insulation. Approximately one fifth of the production will be sent to the general construction sector, 10-15% will be used in individual housing construction. By 2008, the plant should reach its design capacity - 50 thousand tons of heat-insulating products per year. If necessary, the plant's capacity can be increased to 71 thousand tons in accordance with market needs.

The enterprise will supply its products to the markets of the Leningrad and Moscow regions, Moscow and St. Petersburg, the Urals, Siberia, as well as for export to Finland and the Baltic countries. At the same time, up to 20% of the volume of manufactured products will be exported.

Last year, the company's sales rockwool in Russia (together with the plant in Zheleznodorozhny) amounted to 100 million euros. But, according to the company's specialists, even a sixfold increase in the capacity of this production will not be able to meet the needs of Russian builders. The building insulation market is growing at 15-20% per year. The need for premium class insulation, which is produced by the plant, is growing much faster.

In 2006, the Company offered unique products, which have no analogues in any other company in Russia. This is a thermal insulation produced using double-density technology - a compressed or compressed board, which allows to reduce transportation costs by 20-30%; as well as thermal insulation with a springy edge. The first group includes roofing slabs RUF BATTS EXTRAtm, VENTI BATTS Dtm for ventilated facades and FACADE BATTS Dtm for plaster facades. To the second - plates with a springy edge, mainly intended for structures on a wooden frame (FLEXI BATTStm), and compressed thermal insulation, which shrinks during packaging and reduces storage and transportation costs (LIGHT BATTS Ktm).

Dual Density Board is a monolayer (rather than a bonded material) that has a rigid upper and less dense lower layers. In practice, double density allows you to achieve an increase in the speed of work - labor costs can be exactly half as much. Previously, it was necessary to fasten the lower heat-insulating plate, and then the upper one, but now there is only one material that has the properties of two plates. New items will reduce construction time by 10-15%. Previously, in a two-layer solution, both the first layer and the second layer of insulation were fastened with dowels. By using a dual density board, you can avoid wasting fasteners. Reducing the cost of installation can be about 15-25% depending on the design. The stronger top layer of the new slab ensures impact resistance during transport, and also reduces the amount of waste during installation and plastering work on facades.

The effect of a springy edge is achieved by processing the long side of the plate in a special way. The advantage of using such a product is its tight fit to structural elements (there are no gaps through which up to 80% of heat loss occurs) and the minimum amount of waste during installation. The scope of application is low-rise housing construction - attics, interfloor and attic floors, ceilings over cold undergrounds, frame walls and partitions on a wooden frame.

Similar plates are successfully used in Europe. Sales experience in other countries shows an increase in the share of new products in the Company's total sales in the roofing and facade segments up to 80%. It is planned to allocate 35-40% of the total production of two Russian plants rockwool in the Moscow and Leningrad regions for the production of double-density boards.

Description

The ROCKWOOL group of companies (Rokwool) is a world leader in the field of production building materials from stone wool.

The company's products are widely used for thermal insulation and sound insulation of building structures, in addition, they are used for shipbuilding, industrial equipment, pipelines and air ducts. Stone wool prevents the spread of open fire, so fire protection is another function of the material.

The first plant of the company was opened in Denmark, and today 28 ROCKWOOL plants (Rockwool) operate in 18 countries of the world.

The company began to cooperate with Russia more than forty years ago, but only in 1995 the first sales office was opened. Today, four ROCKWOOL plants (Rockwool) are operating in Russia, equipped with the latest technology. The fourth plant, opened in 2012, has the most powerful production line in the world.

The company's research and development center is located in Denmark, where products undergo strict quality control at all stages of production. The safety of ROCKWOOL products (Rockwool) confirms the presence of eco-labels.

The idea of creating basalt wool was borrowed from natural processes. The natural neutral component - stone - makes up about 98% of the entire composition of the ROCKWOOL thermal insulation product (Rockwool).
