The labor legislation of our state contains not only provisions that regulate the basic norms of labor law, but also the procedure for granting holidays to employees.   • there is no need to submit an application if a staff member goes on paid leave according to the accepted schedule;
  • in this case, fourteen days before the start of the holiday, the employer must inform the employee about this;
  • in the labor code of our state there is no clause on the deadlines for applying for unpaid leave of one's own free will, but it can be spelled out in the local regulations of the company itself.

Human life is very unpredictable. It is never possible to say with absolute certainty the date when you need a vacation. In this regard, this issue should be discussed with the employer personally. In simple terms, if we are talking about a vacation at your own expense, you can write an application one day, and go on vacation the next.

However, this process must be agreed, and most importantly approved, by the employer. The reasons for vacations at your own expense can be different. For example, if it is necessary to carry out repairs in an apartment or any other household manipulation, you can’t just go on vacation.
